Vila

My summer wardrobe is literally non-existing. Living in Iceland you have more or less the same wardrobe all year around. In summer you just skip your winter jacket.  But while travelling to places where the heat manages to rise above 20 degrees Celsius you need to pack something lighter than jeans and a sweater. I browsed Vila's website the other day, to check up on some affordable pieces and I was happy to see that there is some good stuff there.

Basic Blazer

A friend of mine asked me today where she would get a nice but basic blazer. My instinct answer was ZARA because I am a high street fan and usually ZARA has a selection of them in a decent quality - which is a must. I have two blazers that I wear mostly to work. One black and one navy and they are both from Selected femme. I like the fitted ones the best and preferably short. A good blazer can dress up jeans and a T shirt in an instant and it is good to have it hanging in the office.

Vinkona mín spurði mig í dag hvar hún fyndi flottan svartan blazer jakka. Mér datt ZARA strax þar sem ég er mest að skoða ódýrari merkin og það eru eiginlega alltaf nokkrar týpur til í ZÖRU sem líta út fyrir að vera í ágætis gæðum -sem er algjört aðalatriði . Ég á tvo blazer jakka, dökkbláan og svartan sem ég nota aðallega í vinnunni. Ég keypti þá báða í Selected femme. Þeir eru aðsniðnir og frekar stuttir, það snið virðist henta mér best. Það er algjörlega hægt að breyta gallabuxum og bol ef maður fer í blazer yfir og mjög gott að hafa hann hangandi á herðatré á skrifstofunni og henda sér í hann ef maður þarf að fara á fund. (Filippa K merkið fæst í GK en ég veit ekki hvort þessi jakki er til þar).
