Nostalgia

The film 9 1/2 weeks has been popping into my mind lately (it was my favorite in 1986 ). So my husband and I watched it the other night and I can tell you it was much better in my teenage memory (still good though). Talking about fashion  inspiration from a movie I absolutely love the clothes Kim Basinger wore in this one and... it reminded me that Mickey Rourke was hot once :) I love the 80´s .  I believe that 9 1/2 weeks represents the 80´s at its best:)

Fashion in movies is no hot news but for yours truly the clothes can be quite a bonus while watching a flick and may even save me from falling asleep. There are the iconic ones, Breakfast at Tiffany's, SATC and Annie Hall that you watch again and again (yes?) but others I would have forgotten if it weren't for the stylish slash interesting garments. Then there are those where the clothes add little to the story other than an ahhh -It would've done fine without  the fashion but believe me, I'm not complaining. Above are some adorable images from movies, some good - others can be enjoyed even better by hitting the mute button ;) One TV show from the eighties might have snuck itself in there..
