The only time I ever use Brussels sprouts when cooking is at Christmas. On Christmas eve we get smoked ham for dinner and one of the side dishes is Brussels sprouts, which I brown in a pan with butter and sugar. I made this dish the other night and it reminded me of Christmas:) To my surprise both my sons enjoyed it.
