I chose to have open shelves in my kitchen after having thought about it for a while :) It gives the kitchen more of a open and airy feeling and it is a great way to make the space feel larger. The downside is that things get dusty and dirty - But if you keep things, that you use on a daily or weekly basis on the shelves, it is no problem at all :) What do you think?
