White sofa

Eins og áður hefur komið fram er ég ótrúlega hrifin af hvítum sófum  því þeir er eru svo tímalausir og smart :-) Ég er með Ektorp - sófa frá Ikea heima hjá mér og gæti ekki verið ánægðari. Það er hægt að taka utan af honum áklæðið og þvo það í þvottavél (er búin að eiga minn í 1 og 1/2 ár og  nýbúin að þvo utan af honum í fyrsta sinn). Síðan er líka smart að skella hvítu efni yfir gamlan sófa.

As I've mentioned before I am so into a white sofa bed There is something so timeless and chic about it :-) I have an Ektorp - sofa in my home and could not be happier with it. You can take the cover off and wash it in the washing machine (I've had mine for a year and have just recently washed the cover for the first time). It is also so chic to throw white fabric over an old sofa.

ArtRebels x IKEA

Þessi yndisfríði stóll er úr línu sem ArtRebels og Ikea sköpuðu saman. ArtRebels spratt fram á sjónarsviðið árið 2007 og er einskonar samfélag og tenglsanet fyrir hina ýmsu hönnuði og listamenn.  Línan sem ArtRebels hannði fyrir IKEA kallast Bråkig og lítur dagsins ljós í byrjun febrúar og kemur hún í takmörkuðu upplagi (spurning hvort hún nái alla leiðina til Íslands?). Þetta er skemmtileg hönnun og minnir helst á tívolí, sirkus og Línu langsokk. Þessi stóll er alveg uppáhaldið mitt og hann hefði nú sómað sér vel í Sjónarhóli. Hér er hægt að sjá meira frá þessu upplífgandi samstarfi.

This cute chair is from a collaboration between ArtRebels and Ikea. ArtRebels emerged on the scene in 2007, and is a kind of community and network for various designers and artists. The  ArtRebels x IKEA collab is called Bråkig and will be available in early February, and comes in a limited edition. This is a fun design and is reminiscent of a fairground, circus and Pippi Longstocking. The pink chair is my absolute favorite from the collection. Check out more  here.
