Ok ok... Ég veit - Það er desember og SNJÓR ÚTI! En ég er samt sem áður að leita að nógu fallegum orðum til að lýsa þessum rauðu bandaskóm! Ég hef bara varla séð neitt jólalegra - Ást fyrir allan peninginn ;) 

I know... It's December and it's SNOWING. But here I am, stunned, searching for the prettiest words to describe these woven sandals. I have hardly ever seen anything so Christmassy - Oh my love ;)

Are you ready?

Are you ready to wear foot shaped grand-pa shoes OUTSIDE your house? I'm not - even though I love ugly shoes! I just think this is going to far ;) The Birkenstocks might be a cheap alternative to the Céline spring/summer '13 sandal trend and without the furry upholstery, but still. Not wearing them in public. The Céline ones I wouldn't even wear inside my house because they would, best case, look like humongous bear paws, worst case, rat-fur-foot-wrist-warmers (maybe they are?). This is not my thing.. right now... Ask me again in two months ;)

Ertu tilbúin í þetta Brikenstock trend sem er úti um allt? Myndir þú ganga í svona fótlaga afaskóm á almannafæri? Ég er ekki alveg að kaupa þetta þó ég elski ljóta skó! Þeir koma kannski í staðinn fyrir Céline sandalana úr vor/sumarlínunni 2013 og án þess að vera loðbólstraðir og þeir eru ódýrari.. en samt.. ég færi ekki í þeim út úr húsi. Ég myndi ekki einu sinni vera í Céline sandölunum inni hjá mér - þessir skór eru eins og bjarnarhrammar, í besta falli... og í versta falli eins og fótagrifflur úr rottuskinni. Ég get ekki þetta trend. Ég fæ alveg smá hroll. En hver veit, kannski skipti ég um skoðun og æði í þessu skótaui um allt í sumar ;)

Bold and brave

Vagabond strappy heels

I have to get my hands on these chunky babes before summer. At least try them on. If they are easy to walk in I'm getting both the black and the white. Can't beleive I'm liking the chunky 90's shoe again but I guess I am. I might be under the influence of this one and this one.

Ég verð að komast yfir þessa þykkbotna sandala fyrir sumarið. Allavega máta. Ef það er gott að ganga í þeim þá kaupi ég báða liti. Ég trúi nú varla að ég sé að komast á 90's skótímabilið aftur (!) en það bendir allt í þá átt. Kannski eru þessi og þessi sem ég heimsæki við og við að hafa svona mikil áhrif á mig? Gleðilegt sumar :)
