Þessi stelpa er algörlega með sinn eiginn stíl og þó ég sé alls ekki með sama stíl og hún þá finnst mér hrikalega gaman að skoða hverju hún klæðist. Hún er svona brettastelpa sem gengur í dýrum merkjum og er Céline þar í uppáhaldi.

Hin danska Pernille er aldrei í sömu fötunum. Hún virðist hafa óheftan aðgang að nýjasta tískufatnaði og sýnir hinar ýmsu samsetningar á því nýjasta nýja á blogginu. Fyrir minn smekk er hún aðeins of stíliseruð  eins og um tískuþátt í blaði sé að ræða en hún er alltaf flott og hún bloggar daglega.

Romy frá Hollandi er nánast andstæða Pernille. Hún er mjög oft í sömu fötunum og stíllinn hennar er látlaus og hippalegur. Fötin eru hversdagsleg, skórnir oftast flatbotna. Hún elskar samt Isabel Marant og það er gaman að sjá hvernig hún blandar saman dýrum flíkum við fatnað frá H&M og Zara.

I love this girls' unique and personal style. Even though she wears items I wouldn't be caught dead in I love to see what she wears. Skate boards and Céline are regular features on this blog.

Pernille is a Danish stylist who seems to never wear the same outfit twice. You can count on her to always wear what is new or even one season ahead. I think her outfits are sometimes over styled like in editorials but she always looks cool and she is a diligent blogger.

bohemianchic

Romy from Holland is almost the opposite of Pernille. She often wears the same outfits and her style is bohemian and unpretentious. She loves Isabel Marant and she mixes the label with stuff from H&M and Zara.

This is a beautiful family blog where Miss James posts the prettiest  pictures mostly of her four children. She shares anecdotes from her everyday life where everything is super chic and stylish. It's a treat to peek into this family's world.

Hér kemur smá sýnishorn af því sem ég gæfi sjálfri mér í jólagjöf (ef ég hefði unnið í lóttóinu). Helgardvöl á ION hótelinu væri draumur. Kría hálsmen úr gulli - yndisfagurt. Ilmvatn frá Byredo, annaðhvort 1996 (fæðingarár dóttur minnar) eða Seven veils...á þessari stundu er ég eilítið spenntari fyrir 1996. Varalitur frá MAC öðru nafni "Dangerous" - hinn fullkomni rauði varalitur. Yogamotta - af því mig vantar hana svo mikið. Blúndunærföt - Ég er að fara að meika það í þessum naríum (fást í Jör) :-D Apple tv, önnur nauðsynjavara...Gleðileg jól!

This is a selection of what I would get for myself for Christmas (had I won the lottery). A weekend at the ION hotel - what a treat that would be. Kría necklace in gold, so pretty. Byredo perfume either 1996 (the year my daughter was born) or Seven veils, I'm leaning more towards 1996 at the moment. MAC red lipstick Aka: "Dangerous", the perfect matte red lipstick. A yoga mat -  I need one. Lace underwear. I'm imagining what I'd look like wearing those knickers around the house :-D - Apple tv another necessity....Merry Christmas!

Það þarf ekki að vera mikið mál að gera jólapakkana skrautlega og fallega. Oft er hægt að nota það sem til er heima fyrir eins og dagblöð og bollakökuform. Flottustu pakkarnir verða oft til þegar  enginn gjafapappír er til á heimilinu og maður þarf að nota ímyndunaraflið og finna eitthvað sniðugt...

It doesn't have to take much effort to make the Christmas presents pretty. You can often use things you already have at home like newspapers or paper cupcake cups. When you don't have any traditional gift wrapping paper at home you have to use your imagination and that is often how you end up with the prettiest presents...

Mér finnst of alveg rosalega erfitt að velja eitthvað handa öðrum og stend mig að því þegar ég er að versla að skoða og máta það sem mig sjálfa langar í!  Ég vil helst bara fá að vita nákvæmlega hvað fólk óskar sér... en það er auðvitað ekki eins gaman og að koma vinum og fjölskyldu skemmtilega á óvart. Ég ólst upp við það að jólatréð var ekki skreytt fyrr en á Þorláksmessu og hélt þeirri hefð framan af. Við fórum fjölskyldan í gær og keyptum jólatré, svo það er ekki eftir neinu að bíða ... 

It was a tradition in my family when I was growing up to decorate the Christmas tree the day before Christmas. But not this year, I have already bought the tree, so there is no reason to wait...

Christmas shopping

Nokkrar jólagjafahugmyndir. Þessi reykskynjari er algjör dúlla og einmitt það sem mig vantar. Ég dýrka ilmkerti og ekki spillir ef þau eru í fallegum glösum eins og þessi frá Byredo og Voluspa. Skemillinn frá Indiska myndi passa eins og flís við rass inn í litlu íbúðina mína... og þessi Le Creuset panna! Hún er lífstíðareign :) Gleðileg jólagjafa innkaup ;)

Just a few xmas present ideas. The pink smoke detector is the cutest thing and just what my home needs. I love scented candles, especially when they come in such pretty glass jars as these from Byredo and Voluspa. The little stool would fit perfectly into my tiny appartment...and the skillet, now that is a lifelong asset. Happy shopping ;)

Leopardo

Ég fæ aldrei nóg af hlébarðamynstri - sama hver flíkin er þá er hún fallegri blettótt ;) Yfirhafnir eru í sérstöku uppáhaldi og ég þreytist seint á því að leita að hinni fullkomnu, (helst vintage) hléðbarðakápu - óekta að sjálfsögðu ;) Á meðan á leitinni stendur læt ég Topshop pelsinn minn duga.

I will never get tired of leopard print - whatever garment, it is always prettier with spots ;) Coats are my favorite and I am always on the look-out for the perfect (vintage) leopard print coat. A faux one of course. I have a leopard coat from Topshop that I'll do with in the meantime.

Ok ok... Ég veit - Það er desember og SNJÓR ÚTI! En ég er samt sem áður að leita að nógu fallegum orðum til að lýsa þessum rauðu bandaskóm! Ég hef bara varla séð neitt jólalegra - Ást fyrir allan peninginn ;) 

I know... It's December and it's SNOWING. But here I am, stunned, searching for the prettiest words to describe these woven sandals. I have hardly ever seen anything so Christmassy - Oh my love ;)
